Thank you to everyone who participated in my link up on the Show Us Your Blog post. We now have 73 fabulous blogs to enjoy. As promised, I used a random number generator to select one blog to feature on Va-Voom Vintage. The chosen blog is Dial V for Vintage.

In just 4 short months of blogging, Dial V For Vintage has almost 100 subscribers. This vintage-loving lady is a girl after my own heart, with great movie reviews, DIY tips, thrift store finds and a big punch of personal style. Dial V For Vintage is such an inspirational read.

I really love that she mixes vintage with modern to achieve her unique and classic look. I know that a lot of people feel that wearing vintage can look too theatrical so it's refreshing to see a girl that really makes "vintage" her own.

Q:What do you love most about vintage fashion?
A: I think the main reason why I love vintage fashion is because of the originality: you'll rarely see someone else wearing the same vintage outfit. Therefore, it allows you to express yourself in a unique way and to be very creative with your outfits. I'm also attracted to vintage/second hand clothes because they're ecologically friendly, I think it's very important to recycle (or repair) clothes that deserve a 'new life'.

Q: Who is your biggest style inspiration?
A:I don't really have a specific 'fashion icon', I would rather say that my style inspiration comes from different things. Most of all, I'm influenced and inspired by movies: film noir, elegant old Hollywood movies, old horror movies, costume/historic movies, Hitchcock-suspense, 50ies movies... I also get a lot of inspiration from other bloggers and different subcultures.
Q: I can tell from your blog that you're a nail polish addict. Do you have a favorite brand or color at the moment?
A: I'm a big fan of Essie nail polish! I love their variety of colours, the formula, the quality... But my favorite colour at the moment would be 'Red Carpet' by Sally Hansen: red sparkles, perfect for Christmas!
