Mediavine Programmatic Advertising (Ver 1.1)

The Website works with Mediavine to manage third-party interest-based advertising appearing on the Website. Mediavine serves content and advertisements when you visit the Website, which may use first and third-party cookies. A cookie is a small text file which is sent to your computer or mobile device (referred to in this policy as a “device”) by the web server so that a website can remember some information about your browsing activity on the Website.

Each internet browser has functionality so that you can block both first and third-party cookies and clear your browser’s cache. The "help" feature of the menu bar on most browsers will tell you how to stop accepting new cookies, how to receive notification of new cookies, how to disable existing cookies and how to clear your browser’s cache. For more information about cookies and how to disable them, you can consult the information at All About Cookies.

Without cookies you may not be able to take full advantage of the Website content and features. Please note that rejecting cookies does not mean that you will no longer see ads when you visit our Site. In the event you opt-out, you will still see non-personalized advertisements on the Website.

Sponsor and Affiliate Disclosure

This year, I was able to quit my day job and stay home with my kids again as a professional blogger. It's given me more time to be with my family and do the things I love (like blogging!). Part of being a professional blogger is that I do generate some income with this blog. When you click on ads, buy products that I recommend and check out my sponsors, it helps me to continue to run this blog and help take care of my family so I appreciate all of your support.

I am very proud to have so many amazing small business owners sponsor this blog. When I was a teenager, my parents were small business owners and they used their little New Age shop to support my self and my siblings. The little shop opened a few weeks before the 9/11 attack and with the fear of damaged economy business wasn't great but my parents marched on through good times and bad and today, they both do well enough to work from home and my mom gets to fulfill her dream of being a professional artist.  So, as you see, giving a shout out to these hard working entrepreneurs is something I truly love to do because it's very close to my heart. Please do take a moment to pop over to each of their shops, check my sponsor posts for coupon codes and give them all little love!

The most important part of being a professional blogger is to maintain trust with my readers and of course, to abide by FTC guidelines so this disclosure and privacy policy covers any of the nitty gritty about affiliate and sponsored ads on my blog- basically just saying that I never write a post just for money, I tell you guys when I might get money from a link and that all of my opinions and product reviews are and always will be 100% genuine. I never use random paid text ads that don't pertain to the content and all posts that include a sponsored link will be marked with a link to this policy at the end of each post. I also never collect and share your personal information with others. Should anyone have any questions or comments about this policy, please contact me at brittany@vavoomvintge@yahoo.com
