Today has been so rainy, gray and all around yuck. Instead of hanging around the house, being bored, Pj and I decided to pack up the kids and go on an afternoon adventure. We drove just over 20 miles from home to visit the Great Midwest Antique Mall in Eureka, MO. We've been to all of the antique malls in St. Charles/St Louis and wanted to see something new.

This place was pretty fantastic! Loads of gorgeous hats, a few cheap train cases, plenty of jewelry and even a few antique clothing items from the late 1800's-early 1900's. I found these vintage deadstock socks just in time for fall, 2 pairs of deco dress clips and this beautiful deco celluloid brooch all for under $20!

On the way home, we stopped at Eureka's Fried Pie Shop for lunch, which was also amazing! We ordered 8 pies and polished them all off. It was delish and cheap- my favorite kind of lunch.

We spotted 2 other antique shops on the same road as the pie shop but it's Sunday so they were closed. I can't wait to go back and see what the other shops have in store. I love going to new places!
