Oh, this old thing?

Just a quick outfit post today! This little 50s dress had a lot of damage- 6 missing buttons, huge holes in the hem so I stitched it up the front and sewed the button holes closed and patched the holes. It's a great little dress to wear around the house for housework and such and dresses up well for going out. It does have its flaws but with a leopard bag and belt and lovely curls, who's paying attention?

  1. love it! it could be a great staple for any color or print!

  2. This is really cute and looks comfortable.

  3. I really love dresses like that and that you take and save a useful garment that just needs a little love. And your red hair looks great with the navy and leopard.

  4. Lovely, I also saved a purple dress I bought in your shop, I will share a photo when I remember to do so. Always save vintage. :)

  5. I love this! I just stumbled across your blog somehow and I'm so glad I did! I have a vintage dress with some flaws and this has inspired me to save it and wear it! Will be following you now! :)

  6. Wonderful job of breathing new life into this timelessly pretty frock. So true!!! Great accessories and the overall package, if you will, of your look can easily help distract the eye from noticing any small flaws into a vintage garment. Yet another reason why being well accessorized rocks! :)

  7. Pretty! You look great in the dress and it is a versatile color and style. I'd fix and keep it too!
