Hi, I'm Brittany! I'm 32,  a mom of two, collector of vintage hats, dainty gloves and all things to do with 1940s-1960s fashion. I live with my kids and husband in a sweet little 1930's house in historic St. Charles, Missouri- a suburb of St Louis.

I am completely obsessed with fashion history and spend my days wearing and re-creating garments from the past. When I'm not chasing my wild kids, Rhys (8) and Olivia (9) around, I'm sewing, knitting, crocheting and blogging! My husband, Pj is my blog photographer and biggest supporter.  He also keeps the kids wrangled while I do my blog tutorials.

In the past, I've been a contributing writer to The Vintage Post, sharing vintage craft tutorials and The Glamorous Housewife, where I've share recipes and housewife tips. I've modeled for Maddy James, Wearing History and have been featured in Sew News Magazine, Vintage Life Magazine, Glory Days Magazine, Queens of Vintage and many wonderful blogs and websites.

I started my blog when Olivia was just 3 months old, after a year of being a housewife and spending my life in tee shirts. I knew that if I continued, I'd be in mom jeans for the rest of my life. Being a curvy girl in a vintage world isn't easy...especially when you always have baby drool and cheerios all over you but through my blogging, I hope to show other gals that they can be glamorous every day.
In 2013, I founded  Hey Doll! Vintage Magazine, a free online vintage magazine which I hope to pick up working on some day!  In 2014, I launched my ecourse, Bloggerific: A Guide to a Beautiful, Successful Blog.  and in late 2015, I launched my ebook, Kitschmas Crafting with Va-Voom Vintage.
This year, I finished my latest e-book, Pins for Pin-Ups: DIY Brooches for Retro Girls.

I love to make new friends so drop by and say hello!
