It's a rainy morning here in St Louis and I'm looking through some old magazines that I haven't seen in a while. With cool weather around the corner, I thought I'd share some fall fashions from the 1930s from Womens Home Companion . Check out my other posts on vintage magazine scans

Such great inspiration! I love the first dress styled with unusual different accessories to mix up the look. How clever!
ReplyDeleteThanks for this wonderful array of dresses! I need that button-on dress like crazy. I'm going to look for a pattern that will work,

Do you have patterns for the dress in the first image and the green dress in the second? I came across your blog looking for s skirt pattern on Pinterest (because my winter and fall wardrobe is in need for some new additions) and now I have spent more than 3h in a sleepless night/morning reading through your blog. I love it! I think I might have a go at knitting the pencil dress you shared in a more recent post, but that would probably be done for the next winter more likely, so some dresses I can sew would be really precious and these two im in live with! If you could share them, I would be over the moon. Thank you for what you are doing! ❤
