Link Roundup: Old Fashioned Beauty Tips and Tricks

I'm crazy for at-home beauty recipes. When I was a teenager, I'd clip out all of the beauty recipes in my Seventeen magazines and keep them in a little folder for later use. Here are some of my favorite beauty tricks and the best part is, you can find a lot of these ingredients in your fridge!

Glamour magazine covers the extreme beauty regimes and secrets of our favorite vintage starlets

Foods to Eat and Wear from Prevention Magazine

At home pore strips from Petit Elefant

Grapefruit Toner, Breakout relief and more tips from Soap Deli News

Old Fashioned remedies and beauty recipes from Grandma's Attic

  1. I still save recipes like these from magazines and online sources! I also inherited an old book with all sort of recipes and tips for body care, which I adore. I just love using food instead of over priced bottled up things for my skin.

Thanks for all of these wonderful links!

  3. OH! Thank you! I want to try all of them out RIGHT NOW. I love these kinds of beauty tips, too. The best I ever EVER took was to use ground oats (oat bran) mixed with boiling water. Let it cool a little bit, mix in a little plain yogurt and spread it on your face... It's amazing. I do one every other day or so...

And lemon... a little lemon rubbed onto the skin is quite good.
