Just as I kicked one week of illness, another bug has popped up! I had great plans for this warm, sunny weekend but instead, I'll be knitting and relaxing, trying to kick this one to the curb so I can be productive next week. My chunky green 50s jacket is coming along nicely and with a few more afternoons on the couch with my needles in hand, it'll be done! Pj picked up a couple of pretty boxes of Puffs plus lotion for my red nose and I found my favorite sparkly pom pom slippers and fluffy robe to cuddle up in. We opened the doors and windows to enjoy the beautiful day and listen to the wind chimes. We're finishing Dexter on Netflix this afternoon and then we may start something new on Amazon Prime. Does anyone have any good binge watch recommendations or favorite movies that I should check out?

I love Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries (on Netflix). Sassy stylish lady detective in 1920s Australia. The clothes are AMAZING, and the mysteries are always really interesting. 3 seasons are available, so that'll take you at least a few days to a week to work through!
ReplyDeleteI do too!!!! ❤️❤️
DeleteI agree...Miss Fisher's Mysteries is an amazing series. I love it. Hope you feel better. Love your blog and your pictures. Cheers, Michele
ReplyDeleteI thought it was just me, I was sick in January and now again. Hope you are better soon. The pretzel looks yummy.
ReplyDeleteDetectorists on the Netflix. Totally cracked me up.
ReplyDeleteGet well soon xx
ReplyDeleteFeel better soon! Being sick is the worst, but at least you're able to catch up on some projects; I usually just lay there being unproductive.
ReplyDeleteI also love Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries! It's not high art, but the characters are fun and the clothes are ah-mazing.
Oh no! Winter can be so brutal on that front. I hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteWe've binge watched a number of great series over the years. If you're a fan of Dexter, some others in the same broad camp that I've really enjoyed have been White Collar, Suits, Riper Street, Sherlock (the UK version), Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy, and (though it can be extremely graphic) Hannibal.
