I've always (and I'm sure this won't come as a big shock to anyone who knows me ;)) been drawn to any kind of historical themed day, park, parade - you name it, there's just something to special and fantastic about celebrating the past through reenactments in the present.

♥ Jessica Witchcrafted Lifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02992822472797191121noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1085997960024984026.post-4158340506195238082013-05-20T09:39:05.142-04:002013-05-20T09:39:05.142-04:00That looked like a great day out. I love historical visits myself and it has rubbed off on the kids (I am waiting on a big day coming up here in the summer called the Bruce festival which will be kilts and clay-mores).
Valerie
xxx
http://vlbeattie.typepad.com/a_mormon_mama/VALhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04992726476977703562noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1085997960024984026.post-70603491641581263802013-05-20T03:18:46.411-04:002013-05-20T03:18:46.411-04:00nice day out, always nice to learn something about...nice day out, always nice to learn something about history. We took our son to Tartan Days a few weeks ago and he was entertaining all the ladies with his dancing to the drums. I noticed they had some civil war era costumes going that weekend. It was pretty neat and our family does better at the lower key festivals like that one. I had no idea you were that close to us (we're in Florissant in NoCo).Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16438899794902300142noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1085997960024984026.post-67500825480714803952013-05-19T11:49:46.897-04:002013-05-19T11:49:46.897-04:00Beautiful pictures!Beautiful pictures!Joannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16439393534029787165noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1085997960024984026.post-5710580735688412722013-05-19T11:40:05.422-04:002013-05-19T11:40:05.422-04:00That looks like a fabulous day out, and I love you...That looks like a fabulous day out, and I love your dress.Louise Mchttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14858832660475944060noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1085997960024984026.post-51680247525716640222013-05-19T10:19:19.160-04:002013-05-19T10:19:19.160-04:00What a beautiful day out!!! xoxWhat a beautiful day out!!! xoxAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07399307155035285501noreply@blogger.com
